So, I have a serious question, but first a few things before i get to said questions. I am not someone who posts often or comments regularly, but I am a avid reader (been reading BSD stuff since 2010 or so). However, I feel even without the crazy amount of participation that I wish I could put in, I am part of the community. I graduated in 2011 with a degree in journalism (sports broadcast was what I emphasized in). However, in the two years since graduating, I've found that my dreams of being a good sports radio show host is likely going to be just that...a dream. That being said, my passion for PSU athletics (football and basketball especially) has me thinking about this really crazy idea I've been playing with for a while...starting a PSU sports podcast.
I believe right now, with the dearth of bad feeling about PSU and the mediocre sports coverage of PSU sports on the radio (with Steve Jones being the sole exception...i guess), this may be a good time to make this happen. Besides with 40-ish days between now and opening kick-off, there is more than enough time to get everything set up.
My question is: would it be something worth pursuing? And I ask you guys, since you guys probably would be the exact audience I'd be looking to get to listen to the hour-long, weekly podcast. I hope to hear from some of (if not all of) you guys out there in BSD land.
