Although the world is fascinated with the non-demise-yet of Penn State Football, with Bill O'Brien garnering most of the available coach-of-the-year awards for an 8-4 season in 2013, there seems to be one area where there is still room for improvement.
One of the coach's stated goals at the outset of his term was to sign PSU's fair share of the best Pennsylvania high-school football players.
These are, more or less, the top ten PA players available in 2014
Dravon Henry, Montae Nicholson, Jermaine Eluemunor, Alex Bookser, Shai McKenzie, K.J. Williams, J.J. Cosentino, Chase Winovitch, Malik Hooker, Troy Apke, Ricky Rogers.
BOB is not done yet, but one out of ten so far seems to indicate that there is much work to be done before O'Brien's self-indicated goal of scoring high with Pennsylvania prospects comes to fruition.
