Penn State basketball opened their preseason tour of Europe with a 46-point win over Belgian first division side Okapi Aalstar's junior team on Monday night. The Nittany Lions had seven players reach double figures in scoring, led by freshman Graham Woodward's (#3) 18 points (little bit of Talor Battle in his game, no?). The game also saw the return of fifth-year senior Tim Frazier to competitive action. Frazier, reportedly fully recovered from the season-ending Achilles injury he suffered last November, added ten points in the win and more importantly, showed no ill effects from the injury. Pat Chambers' team will travel to Antwerp to face Belgian second division side St. Jan at 2:30 PM EST on Tuesday.
