Penn State has confirmed the addition of San Diego State to the 2015 non-conference schedule. The Nittany Lions will host the Aztecs on September 26, 2015 in Beaver Stadium. Temple and Buffalo are the other non-conference games currently scheduled for the 2015 season, with an additional game to be announced on a later date. This will be the first-ever meeting on the football field between the two schools.
San Diego State finished with a 9-4 record in 2012, including a 20-6 loss to BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl. The Aztecs are coached by Rocky Long, who replaced Brady Hoke after Hoke's departure for Michigan prior to the 2011 season.
Stay classy, San Diego.
