Wrestling schedule finally released

http://www.gopsusports.com/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/082913aaa.html Penn State has finally released their wrestling schedule for the upcoming season. Items of note (which I'm sure will be covered in a much better fashion by the BSD wrestling writers at some point in the near future): 1) No Nittany Lion Open this year. The team will instead travel to the Binghamton Open. This is disappointing as the NLO was always a great event. Not sure what the reasoning is for not holding it this year. 2) both OSUs will be coming to State College this year. Ohio State to Rec Hall on Dec. 15 and Oklahoma State to Rec Hall on Feb. 16. This is a bit of a surprise as the rumor has been that the Ok. State match would be held at the BJC. This will be a nearly impossible ticket to get (if you don't have season tickets) as it features two of the best programs in the country. 3) Pitt at the BJC on Dec. 8. One has to think it's going to be a rather empty BJC with Pitt being the opponent. Not sure how this helps anything. 4) Once again, Cael will be keeping the boys out of the National Duels. This was expected. Man, I can't wait for November and wrestling season. The quest for 4 begins.
