There's a few in the comments for last week's mailbag, and I'll tackle those--but leave any others you want me to answer over here as well.
As usual, you can also tweet at us (@BSDtweet, or @NotCarlotta for my mailbags, @Jared_BSD for Jared's) with any questions you may have, or post questions on our facebook page.
To fill the extra space, I'll give my thoughts on the game from Saturday (briefly): the better team won. We were not the better team on Saturday. It reminded me of Illinois 2010 when our defense couldn't stop anything. I'm incredibly optimistic for the future, with the strides Hackenberg has made--and this was easily his best game yet. All the calls for Butler's head are expected, but premature. Why no calls for LJ's head when his position group played arguably the worst in the entire defense? This isn't the first time a PSU-coached D has let up 500 yards, and it likely won't be the last. I think Amos should switch back to corner to help cover the sideline passes, which were what they killed us on time and again (and if memory serves, EMU got us on a few of those).
Oh yeah, and Kent State better watch out, because I'm betting the team will be fired up this week after the loss.
