Report: Mutual Interest between PSU and Al Golden

According to Miami message board CanesInsight.com, Penn State administrators and Al Golden have been in communication regarding the vacant head coaching job. Golden, who both played and coached under Joe Paterno at Penn State, is said to have serious interest in the job. In three years at Miami, Golden has compiled a 22-15 record, finishing up a 9-4 season this year with a loss in the Russell Athletics Bowl to Louisville.
