Cause and Effect is what I'm talking about here....
Christian Hackenberg is a Sophomore, is a Pro Style Quarterback and without
a doubt the leader of the team now and a huge draw recruiting wise.
Austin Whipple, D.J. Crook and Michael O'Connor are Freshman, Pro Style
Quarterbacks and very talented.
Brandon Wimbush just gave his verbal as a recruit. He is a very talented
Dual Threat Quarterback.
Yes I'm very happy about landing Wimbush but also question what direction it
will take recruiting.
Having an Elite Pro Quarterback (Hack) attracts an Elite receiving corps.
Having an Elite Receiving Corps attracts Elite Quarterbacks.
Let's face it, if you are a top receiver coming out of High School, you are
going to question how often the ball is going to be thrown to you and how
accurate the throw is going to be so you have the best opportunity to do
what you do best.
If the future Quarterback of Penn State is of dual threat variety even if he
does have a golden arm, will those future receivers think twice?
