BTN disappoints -- still or again?

So I'm watching the BTN preview of the East division. We got a little bit of love right out of the blocks from Howard Griffith, but since then it has been the predictable o$u/meatchicken propaganda. For instance, they flashed up a graphic that showed five key players who have moved on -- guys like ARob and Cody Latimer -- with the lead-in, "Who can replace this lost talent?" Well, naturally they talked -- again! -- about the Buckeyes losing BMiller. Yeah, we get it, guys: o$u needs to make big changes now that Mr. Heisman is not available to them.

They keep teasing about talking about Franklin and his impact on State, but almost 40 minutes into the show and they are still knobbing about o$u playing VT and MissedAgain-Notre Lame. RETCH!!

In fairness, we got 23 seconds of air time when they talked about how State will have to protect Hack given our weak offensive line. OK, thanks very much for that tiny bit of coverage. And we are getting mentioned as being in some of the good games during the season -- usually as they talk about how Michigan, for example, is really going to recover this year.

At least Sparty is getting a little love. The talking heads do realize Sparty has a good chance to repeat as conference champs -- something preferable to the usual suspects getting all the attention. And they talked about how Marygers and Rutland are going to contribute to the conference.

Sigh.
