The U.S. Women's National Team announced their World Cup roster and it will feature former Nittany Lions Ali Krieger and Alyssa Naeher. Krieger, selected to her second World Cup squad, slots in as a starter and arguably best defender on the U.S., meanwhile Naeher, making her World Cup squad debut, is the third goalkeeper behind Hope Solo and Ashlyn Harris. If you're interested in watching them before they leave for the great white north, they'll be playing on the east coast against Korea Republic at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey for the last game of their Send-Off Series on May 30.
Jeff Gordon On Campus: As part of an partnership announcement between Axalta and Penn State for STEM, an initiative to promote science, technology, engineering, and math education, Jeff Gordon unveiled a new Penn State-themed paint scheme for his Number 24 car on campus. The car will be running at the upcoming NASCAR Axalta "We Paint Winners" 400 at Pocono Raceway on June 7, where Penn State College of Engineering and Smeal College of Business students will also have an opportunity to learn from his Hendrick Motorsports team at the event.
