In a long list of talented Penn State running backs, Richie Anderson stands as one of the best.
Anderson, after sitting out his sophomore season with a medical redshirt and being a third-stringer his freshman season, broke out in his redshirt sophomore year. He went for 599 yards and 7 touchdowns in the last four games of the season. He finished the season with 779 yards and 10 touchdowns, as well as being third in the team in receiving, with 21 receptions for 255 yards.
His junior season, he ran for 900 yards and 19 touchdowns. He declared for the NFL right after his most successful season.
Anderson went to have a long NFL career, spending 11 seasons between the Jets and the Cowboys.
