Pitt should not score. Or, Ignorance is Bliss.

For all the folks lamenting the Penn State Offensive performance against Kent State, at least you did not have to watch the Pitt Panthers play the Division II Villanova Wildcats, and lay an egg, offensively.

1) Pitt has no running game. Trace McSorley had better rushing numbers (14/47, 3.4 AVG) than James Conner, (17/53, 3.1 AVG).

2) Pitt can't kick field goals. Attempted two, missed both. 30-39 (0/1), 40-49 (0/1).

3) Pitt's Passing Game is not as good as Penn State's. 19/33 for 175 yards vs 16/31 for 209 yards for PSU.

4) Pitt has no big-play threats. No plays over 20 yards yet, compared to PSU having 5 players with 20+ yard plays.

Penn State's defense gave up two field goals last week. If Pitt couldn't run the ball against Villanova, and they can't kick Field Goals, this week's game could be great fun. Legitimate shutout potential? That's what I'm thinking.

As an afterthought, besides their team sucking big time, did I mention that their campus is dirty, their team colors are repulsive, their cheerleaders are ugly, their band sucks, they have no fans, and are a pathetic failed team falsely representing themselves as a legitimate FBS football program?

Above all others, this game makes me remember that
