It’s not all just doom and gloom for Penn State football these days.
Just mostly.
But not all!
Redshirt freshman KJ Hamler was named 1 of 5 finalists this morning for the Paul Hornung award given annually to the nation’s most versatile player.
Saquon Barkley won the award a year ago and Hamler is joined by Rondale Moore (Purdue), N’Keal Harry (Arizona State), Marcus Green (UL-Monroe) and Connor Heyward (Michigan State) as finalists.
Through 9 games, Hamler has 29 receptions for 518 yards and 5 touchdowns, 2 rushes for 32 yards and a touchdown, 19 kick returns for 484 yards and 10 punt returns for 85 yards.
The winner of the award will be announced on Dec. 5.
