Time to try and make a move! Looks like "Card Chronicle" may be content to sit on that one $7500 win and ride it out.

Outback Bowl Experience
To start, I should let you know that I am a member of the Penn State Blue Band. As a result the NCAA picks up the tab for me and 300 of my friends. (No one can complain about a free trip!) Tampa was flooded with Penn State fans, but I would say that Tennessee fans slightly outnumbered the PSU fans. It was also interesting to see numerous schools represented. In town I spotted fans from all over the south and SEC, but especially large groups of Big Ten fans from Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Michigan. To my suprise, it was clear that Ohio State fans in the stadium were supportive and loyal to Penn State and the Big Ten.
It should also be noted that fans from the "Big Orange" have nothing on Nittany Nation. Their fans had absolutly no enthusiasm throughout the game. PSU fans would start the WE ARE chant while UT fans would practically sit on their hands. Also, I must comment on how annoying Tennessee fans can be with their "Rocky Top" fight song. A fellow friend of mine counted the song being played 22 times throughout the game.
As for the game itself, I feel one of the x-factors that was overlooked was the weather during the game. A rainy afternoon clearly helped the Lions. The rain slowed downed UT's passing game which resulted in a few dropped passes and may have contributed to their early turnover on the reverse.
Although the Outback Bowl didn't carry the same excitement as the Orange Bowl, the experience and atmosphere was incredible. After being in South Bend and Columbus to see the Lions fall, it felt great to finally get a Top 25 win away from Beaver Stadium. If Morelli can keep the momentum from this win into the off season, I think there is a real possibility that a trip to Pasadena could be in the cards. We can only wait and see....
