O$U Sex-Offender/Weird Stalker/Twitter guy arrested
As if we didn't see this coming. Something tells me... actually, this tells me nothing. It's just... just... well... creepy. Not that OSU could have prevented this, by any means, but this should serve as yet another warning to all programs that peeps be crazy. Especially peeps who be listed sex offenders and have access to the interwebs.

Sal Anzalone clarifies his comments.
In a bid to keep his son Tony in the news avoid burning the O$U bridge, Sal Anzalone clarified his comments made following Tony's decommitment from the Buckeyes.
"There's nothing wrong with Ohio State; it's a great institution. When I said there was something wrong with Ohio State, I was talking about the visit - there was something wrong with the visit, not with Ohio State."
Proving that the siren's song of the "prestigious" honors college still rings in their ears:
"With all the craziness, we want to slow down the process, calm it down a little bit," Sal Anzalone said. "There's no reason we wouldn't consider the Buckeyes. We love Ohio State. The academic opportunities there are tremendous!!!!!!!!" (emphasis, exclamation points added)
$1000 BSDollars says he ends up at O$U.
Also, related and critical.
Alex Anzalone decommits from OSU
According to ESPN.com
Alex Anzalone decommits after sex offender posts picture of Alex and himself hanging out at OSU. Can Penn State get him now?
According to an interview with his father Alex Anzalone was "creeped out" by the posting of him and registered sex offender. Apparently Alex had been having buyers remorse over decision to go to OSU and this was all he needed to get out. His father basically kept all avenues open, explaining that even a recommit to OSU was possible.

Springtime for BSD and PSU fanatics........11 and One? How about it!
The B1G Scheduling Gods have finally smiled on Happy Valley. BOB is going to get plenty of opportunities to develop this team for the two late-season tough games. Plus, the highest-rated B1G teams, Michigan State and Michigan, are not on the schedule.
The NFL draft results showed the team lost numbers but did not lose irreplaceable quality with last year's graduating class. Penn State will have a speedy and talented roster, with plenty of experience at the skill positions. One very important PSU advantage is the very-experienced Matt McGloin, who moves the sticks better than any of PSU's B1G opponents's QBs.
PSU will be double digit favorites against most of the schedule, including the Ohio State Game at home, and will be a favorite in all games next year, except for a tough contest at Nebraska, and a tossup with Wisconsin at home.
I suggest that anything less than 10-2 will be a disappointing season, and 11-1 is a possibility.
Of course, there will be a few maniacs who predict 12-0 before PSU wins it's bowl game, but I am not one of those crazies.
PF Donovan Jack commits to PENN STATE
Don't know much about him but Geno Thorpe just RT'ed this on his twitter acount:

Coaches Caravan in DC or Pat Chambers Man Crush Confirmed
I took in the PSU Coaches Caravan in DC last night and came away with all the warm fuzzies and Blue/White hysteria they could possibly have hoped for... and a super man-crush on Coach Chambers.
I got lucky enough to get to meet and spend a little time with all the coaches before the event and every one of them was impressive. Coach O'Brien, a Coors Lite man by the way, was genuine, passionate and came off as a really down to earth normal kind of guy who was happy to get the opportunity to meet the people, press the flesh and talk about his vision for the program. If Coach Paterno was a man you wanted to have an audience with, Coach BoB is a guy you want to have a beer with and just watch the game and shoot the sh$t. I think that after meeting the man in person I've gone from cautiously optimistic to excited antici...
wait for it...

We Are....
SHow many words does it take to get to the end of a Black Shoe Diaries, nay, an SSSSSSBBBBBBB Nation post? This is just a smattering of the incredible memorabilia that Frau Pentimental scooped up for me for my 50th last September. I wanted to share some of it sooner, but, there was a ripple in the vortex of Success With Honor a short time after last September.
To further whet your appetites, I offer you a pic of my son with a certain semi-famous baseball player. 10,000 BSD bucks to the first Nittanite that can identify whom it is and how many baseballs he signed for a lucky kid who still is not certain of the import and gravitas of that day.
The black and white Nike backyard ball was fortunately not signed that day, I just fished it out of a rain gutter tonight. Somehow this pic must qualify as a COA, no?
UDFAs - Green Signs with Detroit
So along with the four that were drafted, the following PSU grads are going to:

D'Anton Lynn - New York Jets

DeOn’Tae Pannell - Tryout with the New Orleans Saints

Drew Astorino - Cleveland Browns
Jon Rohrbaugh
Joe Suhey - Tryout with the New York Jets
Stephfon Green - Detroit Lions
There is some talk about whether Stephfon Green signed with the Jets or not. His agent and HE HIMSELF has said no, BUT THE TWITTERZ SAIZ SO!
UPDATE: He signed with Detroit early this morning.
