This weekend, top cornerback recruit Jabrill Peppers won both the 100 and 200 meter races at the Big North United track championships in New Jersey. He was clocked at 10.5 in the 100 and was thought to have set the state record in the 200 until it was determined that a shadow caused a timing error. He still ran it in 21.37 seconds. Peppers has listed Penn State in his top four along with Michigan, Stanford and LSU.
