Jay Paterno is speaking at a PSU alumni chapter scholarship fundraiser in Madison, WI on June 15. Discounted tickets are available through June 7. Good opportunity for those in the Midwest to come and hear him talk.

Penn State made a presence at the Mary Kline Classic, a basketball All-Star game that also benefits brain cancer research. Geno Thorpe, incoming Penn State freshman, won MVP honors for the senior game over guys going to Syracuse, Villanova, and former PSU commit, Brandon Austin.

I don't care much about lacrosse, but might if the Nittany Lions ever contend for a title. It's interesting that the B1G is bringing in a team for just one sport.
