Big Ten Blogger Roundtable Thinks The Grass Is Always Greener
Your humble blogger has been asked/requested/demanded that he host the Big Ten Blogger Roundtable this week. I'm just posting the questions for now. I'll put my answers up later in the week. Be sure to check the comments as many bloggers tend to leave links to their answers on the host blog. And keep checking the google reader doohickey on the right sidebar for links to the various Big Ten Blogs. I'll assemble a roundup and post it here on Friday for your reading pleasure.
Pretend for a moment you're the little Japanese guy on Heroes. You can close your eyes, clench your fists, crap your pants and go back in time. If you could go back and change one play for your team this season, what would it be?
We're now two-thirds of the way through the season. Everyone likes to debate who will be the Big Ten Coach of the Year. I want to know which Big Ten coach is a complete moron that should be demoted back to fullbacks coach on a team that runs the spread offense?
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife. But the Bible doesn't say anything about your rival. Which current Big Ten player do you most wish played for your team?
Bonus Question
It's probably too early to start thinking about next year. Well, unless you're Minnesota in which case you've been thinking about next year for a month or so already. Assess your team's future. Was this year your chance to make a run or is this just a rebuilding year with greater expectations in 2008? Or do you plan to suck in 2008 just as much as you suck now?

My take...
The Morrelli fumble at the 20 in the Michigan game.

Mike Hart, he makes me cry when he runs, he is that good.

Depending on NFL jumps, I think the Lions have a real legit shot at winning the big ten next year. But once again the question will be the QB. This years staff has done LITTLE to get our backups any meaningful snaps. The oline looks legit, the offense will have everyone back except for a couple of players, and the defense will only lose Conner. It is a season that is ripe for the picking if they will develop a qb this offseason.

QBs........

- Morelli's fumble against Illinois. One loss in the Big 10 is manageable, but as described in your excellent post earlier, two losses will be pretty tough to come back from.
- I'll go with Jay here as well.
- Kellen Lewis. Our offense would be completely different with him at the helm. It would be...dare I say...exciting?
- PSU if we can get competent QB play. Big IF.

- If I could change one play it would be either AS or AM's fumble in AA. I think if we could have won that game our confidence at Illinois would've been through the roof. It's impossible to pick just one for the game in Champaign. I'd like to change 4 just off the top of my head.
- After seeing the 8'6" tall Hardy I'd love to have him. Though we still would probably throw fade routes in the redzone to 6" and under kids.
Thanks for hosting

My thoughts exactly.
I like Hart, but we have good RBs (when we use them)
But the hole has been at QB and Lewis looks as good or better than anyone I have seen and the guy is a sophomore.
