Game Day Open Thread - Michigan Wolverines

Go State!
Penn State 13-14 (5-10) Michigan Wolverines 9-19 (5-11)

It's pretty evident that barring an improbable run through the Big Ten tournament in a few weeks we're not going to the post season. So all we're playing for now is pride. I'll probably be watching the game on a time delay tonight, but for those of you watching it at 8 PM on the BTN you can take part in the open thread.

I'm Confident
If we win today, and upset Indiana at home (doable) we'll finish 15-15, and a win in the B10 Tourny gets us into the NIT.

NIT NIT NIT NIT NIT
That would be great, you just don't realize how a loss to Rider can bite you in the ass in the end.

Rider
Rider?  I am so sick of hearing people complain about that game as being a particularly bad loss.  I wish we would have won that game, but you do realize that Rider has a higher RPI than any team we lost to in the Old Spice Classic (UCF and South Carolina)?   And a higher RPI than Iowa and Michigan, two teams that Penn State lost to in the Big Ten?   Also, Rider has the number 3 rated center in the country
according to rivals.
Ok-Rant over.
Great game by Battle, Walker, hopefully we can steal one at home against IU, and win the first game of the BTT.  A winning season after losing Claxton would be a pretty big accomplishment.

Um...
Any bubble team for the NIT has at least one loss equally as embarrassing as the Rider one.

Very nice that we picked up 4 wins after G went down, cant say I was that optimistic.
