Eastern Michigan is 4-1 in its career against Jim Tressel, although all of these games took place when Tressel was at Youngstown State, an FCS program.
This will be EMU'S first game against a top 25 team since 2008.
Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith was EMU's athletic director from 1985-1993.
Elton Rynearson, who coached from 1925-1939, is the most succesful coach in EMU history, with 114 wins.
Ohio State and Eastern Michigan have never played before this Saturday's game.
