We missed last week with the excitement of an NHL season finally dawning, but we're back this week with a big update. Both Mike Cichy and Dustin Walsh have been cut due to lack of performance. Alex Galchenyuk is also out since he's in the NHL.

Oiler defensive prospect Dillon Simpson recently spoke to Copper & Blue to let our readers know more about his game and how his development is progressing during his time with the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux.

So we're done with overseas Habs, so that series is dead. But you guys loved the weekly prospect report, so we're keeping that.

It's been awhile since we updated you on this, and this will be the last one. We will be bringing you weekly prospect updates though. We'll take you through the Habs' last week overseas and the 3 Habs stars of the lockout.

This is purely my own opinion, but...wow, do we all suck at this NHL lockout thing or what?
