Here are your Thursday morning quick hits.

Derrick Williams says his season isn't going the way he planned.

Jeremy Kapinos is doing well and Terrell Golden is contributing, but it was a long road for both players to get here.

Poz is 17 tackles away from beating the PSU career tackle record held by Greg Buttle. He and junior linebacker Dan Connor have been named semi-finalists for the Bednarik Award which is presented to the nation's top defensive player. Poz has also been named a quarterfinalist for the Ronnie Lott award along with defensive end Anthony Spencer of Purdue. The Lott Award is in it's third year and recognizes players for their performance on the field as well as their character off the field.

Penn State is going to have to focus on stopping the Purdue offense this weekend. Everyone knows Anthony Morelli has been the subject of some criticism this year, but so has Purdue quarterback Curtis Painter.

Finally, everyone has their favorite Joe Paterno story, including Purdue defensive lineman Ryan Baker.
