It's official. The Penn State Nittany Lions will play the Tennessee Volunteers in the Outback Bowl on January 1st.

Tennessee is a great opponent for us. They have a great football tradition and a very good team again this year. They played well in a tough league. It's going to be a challenging game for us.
I'm excited about his matchup. These teams have some recent history from some bowl games in the early 90's. They are two storied programs with large loyal followings. It should be a great matchup.
