Friday Quick Hits

It was nice to get a taste of some college football last night. I caught parts of the BC-Central Michigan game and the South Carolina-Mississippi State games. I'll be making my way north today trying to outrun the rain, but I'm afraid it's going to catch up to me by tomorrow. I'll still be rolling into State College and setting up the tent at 7 AM. Here are some quick hits for you on the eve of Penn State Football.

The Altoona Mirror has a nice article on Jay Alford anchoring the defensive line.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has Five Keys to the Nittany Lions have a successful season.

The Reading Eagle has an article on Akron Zips quarterback Luke Getsy.

For those of you planning on attending Penn State Football Eve tonight be advised: The festivities have been cancelled. Misery, thy name is Ernesto.
