Tuesday Quick Hits

I'm still getting things together for this week's game with the Irish. I'll have my blogpoll ballot out for discussion soon. In the meantime, here are some quick hits for you to ponder.

Despite Joe Paterno completely denying the defense was going to use the 3-4 this year, the Nittany Lions started the game with three down linemen and four linebackers.

The reason the coaches decided to utilize the 3-4 is because Sean Lee is too good to keep on the sideline anymore.

Joe Paterno was not pleased with the offensive line on Saturday.

That Number 12 you saw running up the sidelines for 137 all purpose yards was not Michael Robinson.
