Tuesday Nitt Picks

New, 2 comments

I'm on the road this week, so I had planned on just putting up a few links for you guys to read for homework. Reader rctbone2009 beat me to the punch on a bunch of them in the diaries so go check that out. Lots of good stuff in there.

Also, check out this diary from devildogpsufan.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who posts on BSD.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who posts on BSD. I am a Marine currently in Iraq and am a die hard PSU fan. BSD allows me to stay current with my PSU news and notes.

I said it in the comments but I'll say it again. Thank you for your service to our country devildog. I'm just a schmuck with a Nittany Lion football addiction. There are much more productive things I could be doing with my time. But knowing that this stupid blog in my tube of the internest brings joy to someone on the other side of the planet getting shot at and blown up makes me feel honored. I will do my best to not let you down. Devildog goes on to wrap up his diary saying

I would also like to say that the Nittany Lion Basketball will be back next year. Walker is going to have a big year and Cornley and Claxton will be solid once again."

Indeed they will, and I pray you're back in the States in time to see it. Go State!

Penn State is still in the running for uberquarterback recruit Terrelle Pryor as he narrowed his list of schools down to eleven. Did Pitt make the list? Not so much. Suck on that, Panthers. Tell me again how Pitt is taking recruits away from Penn State?

FOS reporter Mark Harrington was blogging from the Penn State fantasy camp all last week. It's a really good read from inside the Penn State football program. And some interesting tidbits about Penn State's coaching philosophy.

Finally, check out the new SBNation homepage. The facelift looks awesome. Some of the new highlights include featured blogs and posts as well as all of your favorite team blogs layed out in an easy access format. It's a great way to get all of your sports information. Bookmark it and check it regularly.
