Just off the heals of my Friday Morning State of Recruiting Post, I fount out Penn State has offered a new cornerback. Robby Green of River Ridge, LA is the newest kid to get an offer.
He's another pure cornerback like Jarred Holley. Both Rivals and Scout rate him as a four star prospect and the #12 corner in the country. The 6'0" 175 lb corner is described as a "lockdown" corner that broke up 15 passes and intercepted four as a junior last year.
Green has an impressive offer list that includes Alabama, LSU, USC, Michigan, Tennessee, and Florida just to name a few. He declares himself wide open at this point, but I think Penn State has their hands full if they want to get this kid to come north. Coach Brian Norwood is handling his recruiting for the Nittany Lions. Green has been added to the recruiting board.
