Nitt Picks Says "Bah, Kids Today"

Oh well this is just GRRRRRRRRRRREAT!

Penn State tight end Andrew Quarless has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules, team spokesman Jeff Nelson said Tuesday.

Quarless, a rising junior from Uniondale, N.Y., caught 14 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns for the Nittany Lions last season. He missed the first two games while serving a suspension for an underage drinking citation last August.

Goodbye, Mr. Quarless. Have fun playing for Youngstown State or Shippensburg. You blew it, son. Bring on Szczerba and Ditto.

And in other news, Laschout is following up their Cowher stalking from Monday with more disturbing investigation. Apparently somebody in North Carolina is selling a house similar to Cowher's, so therefore he must be the next Penn State head coach.

Hello, horse? If you're looking for your cart it's up ahead around the bend. Does anyone else find this whole thing a little creepy?

UPDATE: Cowher says it ain't happening.

Bill Cowher's house is for sale in Raleigh, N.C., and he and his family will move -- 2 miles away.

Cowher said yesterday, with a laugh, that "I'm not going anywhere," after Internet reports noted that his house was for sale and rumors linked him with another coaching job, this one at Penn State.

"Put that to rest," Cowher said firmly yesterday. "I'm staying here."

So dream on.
