Game Day Open Thread - MIchigan State Spartans

Penn State Nittany Lions 16-5 (4-3) Michigan State Spartans 17-3 (7-1)

I'm not going to lie. I don't like our chances in this game. We never seem to play well in the Breslin Center. The good news is nobody expects us to win this game, so in that sense we have nothing to lose. If we could pull off the upset that would be huge.

If Ed comes out playing man-to-man I think we'll get killed. When he did that in the first game this year Michigan State scored at will with easy layups in transition. I think for Penn State to be successful they have to go to the various zone defenses that slowed down the Spartans in the second half and allowed Penn State to eat into that 17 point lead to almost pull the upset. Make Sparty shoot it from deep and hope the shooters are having an off night.
