A post-game thread for your continued wonderment at Penn State's 38-33 victory at Illinois. How weird was it? Penn State had scored 17 points at halftime, scored 3 points in the opening 10 1/2 minutes of the second half, and won by 5 on the road. For seriously.
Yet, after 20 points in the first 30 minutes of the game, the Lions hit 6 of 10 shots from the field, made all five of their free throws, and held the Illini to four points over the last 9:39. They did what you would want your favorite team to do in an ugly game -- win ugly.
And suddenly, we know what the other side of this feels like.
