Night Games Open Thread

Finally. I've only been waiting like all day for this. It's race five of the Chase. It's Charlotte Motor Speedway. It's 190 mph under the lights. My boy Jimmie Johnson leads the points but qualified tenth. He's looking to pad his points lead before they go to Talladega in a few weeks where anything can happen. Friggin' Jeff Gordon is on the pole (I hear he likes riding on the pole. Ha!) but Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick will have to work their way up through the pack if they want to close the gap on Johnson in the points. They qualified 23rd and 24th respectively. So that's what I'll be watching. Unless Jimmie crashes on lap five. Then I'll do a post about how Rick Hendrick is too old and Chad Knaus is so predictable always calling for four tires inside of 50 laps to go.
