For those of you who've been waiting for Penn State to show up in your television, well tonight is your night as the Nittany Lions take on the Fairfield Stags tonight at 7:30 in the Bryce Jordan Center.
Penn State is looking to improve to 3-0. And while that might not normally be a big deal, bear in mind Penn State lost to UNC-WIlmington in game No. 3 last year at the Charleston Classic.
The Stags have been picked to win the MAAC, so if the Lions win this one, it'll be two wins over projected NCAA tournament teams (the other being Lehigh) out of three games. Not bad. The team RPI has slipped back to Earth a little, down to No. 27 as of this posting, but that's still a heck of a boost over recent years.
