Softball Ranks Sixth in Academic GPA Among Division I Schools
Nittany Lion softball's excellent academic record was once again recognized when the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Penn State was the sixth-best Division I program in terms of grade-point average in 2010.
No. 24 Men Soccer's Edges Saint Francis, 4-3
The No. 24 Penn State men's soccer team outshot Saint Francis by a remarkable 38-8 margin and had a dominating 24-4 advantage in shots on goal but needed a late two-goal rally to dispatch the Red Flash, 4-3, on Wednesday night at Jeffrey Field. With the win, the Nittany Lions up their overall record to 6-2 and their 2010 home mark to 2-2.

The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestlers will hold an intra-squad dual meet on Thursday, November 4, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at Rec Hall, is free and is open to the public.
