Snacks on Snacks: Buffalo Chicken Dip

My contribution to Snacks on Snacks is one of the easiest, tastiest things you bring to a tailgate (in my humble opinion): buffalo chicken dip. It takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare, and I have yet to meet someone who hasn't enjoyed it.

What You'll Need:

8 oz of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
25ish oz of white chicken breast (I usually buy it canned, you can use whatever chicken you'd like)
Ranch or bleu cheese dressing
Buffalo wing sauce of your choosing (I like Texas Pete wing sauce)
Mozzarella cheese
Bag of Tostitos
Oven-ready pan

How to Make it:

So like I said earlier this is pretty easy to make, and really shouldn't take you too long to put together. I heat the cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds so it's easier to scoop out of the tub and into the pan. Use all 8 ounces in the container.

Then I drain the water from the canned chicken and dump that into the pan.

If you're buying canned chicken breast, you're probably going to want to separate the chunks out a bit. This is easily done with a fork. Next add a 1/2 cup of the ranch or bleu cheese dressing, a 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, and at least a 1/2 cup of the buffalo sauce (I usually do 3/4 of a cup because I like it spicier).

Then stir it well so it has a consistent orangish color.

Sprinkle some more mozzarella cheese across the top of it. Then set the oven to 350 degrees and bake it for 20 minutes (you can microwave it for two minutes on high if you're in a hurry) and you're done! See? Easy!
