At this point, it's starting to feel like if a Penn State player isn't winning the Defensive Player of the Year award, something is wrong. Monday night, Devon Still was named to the 1st team All Big Ten Team, and also awarded the Defensive Lineman of the Year award. On Wednesday, Still was also given the Defensive Player of the Year award. Jared Odrick won it in 2009, maybe Jordan Hill will win it in 2012? Still is still a finalist for the Bednarik Award and Outland Trophy.
We don't know where Penn State is going bowling yet, just that they'll be playing in the post season somewhere. Regardless, bowl tickets go on sale on Sunday. Don't miss out!
Speaking of bowl games, Tom Bradley will remain the head coach through the bowl game this year. Who knows after that? (h/t PSU Mudder)
Bradley is still visiting recruits. Whether or not he has a job beyond January is a mystery, but it's nice to see that he's still hitting the recruiting trail trying to keep the class together. (h/t Nectir)
It was a clean sweep for Penn State in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The men's team downed Boston College 62-54 while the women's team beat the 13th ranked North Carolina Tarheels 103-84.
The women's volleyball team took home five Big Ten awards this year. Micha Hancock was named Freshman of the Year which was a big no-brainer decision.
Thank You Terry has this week's commit cycle broken down into men's and women's.
