YAY HOOPS: Penn State vs. Cornell Live Game Thread

Yes, a gum commercial was the best I could come up with...Deal with it.

Cornell's Big Red (4-5) provides the last non-conference tune-up game for Penn State (7-5). The Ivy Leaguers may rank somewhere around "meh" in the KenPom ratings, but that didn't stop them from pushing a Top 25 Illinois team to the brink before succumbing to a furious Illini rally. Drew Ferry is without a doubt, Cornell's main scoring threat, as he's currently the only Big Red player averaging double figures scoring (14 ppg) and is shooting an astonishing 34-for-78 from 3-point range (43.6 %). Surely, making sure a hand is constantly in Ferry's face every time he fires away has to be on Pat Chambers' list of keys to winning this game.

Cornell also features a player named Galal Cancer. This leads to hilariously awkward sentences such as this from a recap of the Cornell-Illinois game:

Cornell extended the first half lead to as many as 10 at 24-14 after a 3-pointer by Max Groebe and a free throw by Cancer.

Tipoff is at 7:30 PM ET and will be televised on BTN. If you don't get BTN or can't be in front of a TV, you can listen to Steve Jones and Dick Jerardi on the radio (1450 AM in State College, other affiliates, Sirius Ch 131, and XM Ch 191).

As always: No porn, no links to illegal video streams of the game, and no comments that would cause you to get hurt, arrested, expelled, and possibly deported.
