We'll have plenty of coverage of the stories that came out of this year's Media Day later this week, but for now I wanted to let everyone look over the 29 minutes of practice video and interviews. This first video before the jump is just a bit of the extra footage I picked up from the day including some Paterno, Redd, and McGloin quotes. Practice highlights and interviews can be found down below.
While this is really nothing more exciting than pregame warmups, it was a good chance to see the guys in action and just moving around. Each unit was sent to a specific station and then rotated to the next one after a whistle blew. No members of the media actually got to see practice but it was still a neat chance to see everybody up close. Check out some of the nice grabs by the wideouts towards the ending 3rd of the film.
I finshed the interview off camera by insuring Lynn that everyone in fact does know his name.
I've known Stupar since middle school, and it's safe to say he's gotten bigger and smarter since then. Good kid.
What people don't seem to realize is if you wait for the initial horde to die down, you can get a one-on-one pretty easily. Again, everyone loves Silas. But how couldn't you?
This one goes out to all of the State College people who know how fast and good Alex Kenney is. I got a chance to talk to him off camera about rooming with Rob Bolden but you'll have to wait until later to hear about that.
Mike Wallace was my go-to for starting up these interviews. I ran into Jack Crawford in the bathroom and almost prematurely wet my pants. Mike is a nice guy, and fun to talk to.
