If you're anything like me, this weekend was a bit rough. However, time to shake it off and start looking ahead to the Temple game. In order to help take our minds off the weekend's poor outcome, here is a negative four yard punt from the Oregon State-Wisconsin game. Yes, you read that correctly. (HT: Kegs 'n Eggs)
Speaking of Temple. Penn State opened as only 6.5 point favorites in Philly this weekend, but in the roughly four hours since the lines were released, it shifted to -9.5. That's a lot of early money coming in on the good guys.
This was scary. Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill had a seizure on the sidelines during Minnesota's game on Saturday. He's in stable condition in a Minneapolis hospital, and things seem to be sorting themselves out. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery from me and everyone here at BSD.
I'm surprised it's taken this long. Before each home game, Auburn officials release an (WAR DAMN) eagle that flies around the stadium. This past Saturday, the bird's voyage included an ultimately harmless fender bender with a luxury box window. Considering just how much birds like to get all "COME AT ME, BRO" with their own reflections, I'm surprised something like this hasn't happened before.
Not a lot of sympathy coming your way, Vegas. Sportsbooks were taken to the cleaners by betters on both sides of the Utah-USC game by virtue of the touchdown that beat the spread, then didn't, then did again. I'm sure they'll find some way to struggle through these lean times.
I mean, I guess that's a decent catch. Rutgers' Mohamed Sanu is just showing off for the crowd. (HT: Dr. Saturday)
