Mike Wallace was set to play a major role in Penn State's secondary during the 2012 season. Unfortunately, a torn pectoral muscle last spring sidelined him for the season, thus prematurely ending his football career.

Like so many other Penn Staters, Wallace made his impact off of the playing field. As many of you know, Wallace is an aspiring musician and entertainer. His group, Primary Element, has grown in fame during his time at Penn State, and regularly perform in and around State College. He is also the host of his own radio show, Off the Wallz, which airs on 90.7 FM from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Wallace is also extremely active with THON, which raised more than $10 million for pediatric cancer research in 2012.

From all of us at Black Shoe Diaries, thank you for continuing to make an impact, Mike. We wish you all of the best.
