Former Penn State players took two spots on the AFC Pro Bowl team and one on the NFC squad as the Chiefs' Tamba Hali, Dolphins' Cameron Wake and 49ers' Navarro Bowman were all selected to the NFL's all-star game.
Hali, who will be appearing in his third straight Pro Bowl, has nine sacks to go along with 49 tackles for the 2012 season. Joining him on the AFC team will be Wake who also has 49 tackles on the season, but ranks fourth in the NFL with 15 sacks to go along with three forced fumbles. This will be his second Pro Bowl appearance, the other coming in 2010.
Bowman, who some regard as the best linebacker in the league, is having a career year, totaling 144 tackles, the third-highest total in the NFL, and two sacks. This will be Bowman's first trip to the islands even though he was a first-team All-Pro selection last year.
Congratulations Cameron, Tamba and Navarro!
