After last night's commitment of Curtis Cothran to the Nittany Lions, the Big Ten's total for new commitments this weeks sits at a whopping two. Nabbing their second commit had Wisconsin jumping Nebraska and Illinois in the rankings, and Penn State's addition had them leapfrogging Ohio State. Nationally, only Michigan retained their spot in the 247 team recruiting rankings; both teams who gained recruits also moved up, but all other Big Ten teams fell a few spots. Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, and Purdue all have yet to gain a verbal commitment.

As in every week, some of these rankings are skewed based off of non-rankings of certain players. With Wisconsin's new recruit, both their Rivals and Scout averages are based off of only one commit. Penn State's newest commit was only ranked by 247, so their Rivals and Scout averages are off of five players. Once again, four of Michigan's now-16 commits were unranked by Rivals, while only one of Michigan State's commits was ranked by the same service.
