Kimball played from 2000 to 2003, serving mostly as a kickoff specialist with 132 career touchbacks. His major was Recreation & Park Management. But aside from that awesome hit you saw in the above video, his other career moment was one that... never was. With no time left on the clock, Penn State trailing No. 6 Ohio State 21-20, Kimball's 60-yard field goal attempt fell just short and wide. But the loss was never (nor should it ever have been by anyone) pinned on Kimball's miss, as Ohio State took advantage of a one-game new rule, where passes were allowed to be called complete as long as it only skipped off the ground once on its way to the receiver.
