DaQuan Jones came to Penn State as part of the vaunted 2010 recruiting class, seeing time in the final nine games his freshman year and logging six tackles, two for loss, and a sack in the Outback Bowl. Last season, Jones played in all 13 games, finishing with eight total tackles. He is expected to vie for the starting job opposite Jordan Hill this fall, as one of the more experienced defensive linemen on the team. His size and speed combine for an athleticism that could take Jones very far over the next two season, especially playing at such a high-profile position on this team.
