Miles Dieffenbach comes into the 2012 season atop the depth chart at the left guard position. He was moved over from center after Matt Stankewich laid claim to the middle last year. The Pittsburgh native had a good showing during the Blue-White Game and will look to hold off competition during the summer and cement himself on the line for the season opener and beyond.
A #65 that you might not have expected to see in the archives? Jesse Arnelle, who led the Penn State basketball team to its only Final Four in school history in 1954. He wore the number in 1951 where he starred at defensive and was eventually drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL Draft. He chose to persue basketball and eventually had a long career in law.
