Jeremy Kapinos punted for Penn State from 2003 to 2006, and was part of the memorable 2005 Orange Bowl squad (it happened. I was there.).

Kapinos came to the Nittany Lions from Springfield, VA, where he was named All-Met and was coached by former Green Bay Packers punter Bill Renner.

As a senior in the 2006 season, Kapinos was a finalist for the Ray Guy award (given to the nation's best punter), and was named a third-team All American. He is Penn State's leader in all-time punt yardage (thanks, 2004 offense!).

Kapinos went undrafted in 2007, but ended up on the New York Jets' squad that season. He played for the Green Bay Packers in 2008 and 2009 and the Indianapolis Colts for part of the 2010 season before landing with the Steelers midway through that same season. He is still active in Pittsburgh, having signed a free-agent contract this offseason.
