The this photo of Matt Stankiewitch has to bring a smile to Penn State fans. It was a glorious sight to watch Penn State gradually win the battle of the trenches against Iowa last season, especially after being completely overwhelmed in 2009 and 2010.
Stankiewitch is the sole returning full-time starter on the Penn State offensive line in 2012. He will be looked upon to provide some extremely valuable leadership as several of his linemates adjust to their new roles. Something tells me #54 will be more than ready to rise to the challenge.
