SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
A whole lot of shakeup in this week's Blogpoll after some big names went down. After losing to Notre Dame, Michigan tumbled out of the Top 25 while Clemson and Oklahoma dropped six and eleven spots, respectively after losses to Florida State and Kansas State. The Seminoles and Wildcats moved up to #3 and #6, each garnering first place votes. LSU also fell from #2 to #4 after a poor showing against Auburn. Finally, Oregon State and Rutgers both made big leaps into the rankings after wins over UCLA and Arkansas this past Saturday.
Alabama once again has a stranglehold on the #1 ranking and the SEC is in command of the top-10, placing four teams there. Six different teams earned at least one first-place vote. Maybe the most surprising was Florida State blog Tomahawk Nation voting rival Florida to the top spot.
