Culture Former Notre Dame running back Allen Pinkett paid the price for some questionable comments about the state of the Irish football program. Pickett, who currently serves as the teams color analyst, was sent home early from Ireland after suggesting the team would benefit from having more "bad citizens and criminals on the roster." Obviously, many Golden Domers were not pleased. Pinkett apologized for his remarks, but it is yet to be seen if it wil be enough to save his job.

Little Brother Get Their Jollies Michigan State doesn't seem to have much B10 camaraderie, at least for its in-state rivalry. At the very least, Robinson will have plenty of bulletin board material when the teams meet on October 20.

Speaking of Michigan... The Wolverines lost its top cornerback for the season, but will get star running back Fitz Toussaint back after a one-game suspension.

It could be worse Think it doesn't get much worse than losing to a MAC team? How about losing to an FCS team coming off a 6-5 record? In case you haven't heard, our buddies at Pitt lost to Youngstown State. Yep, Pitt lost to the mighty Penguins of YSU. That is all.

RIP Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away at the age of 54 yesterday after suffering a heart attack. Duncanfound a niche playing characters that were gentle in nature juxtaposed with his intimidating stature. He was mostly known for his roles in The Green Mile, Armagedon and Sin City.
