I'll admit I wasn't that happy to see that both of Penn State's byes for the 2013 season were just a few weeks apart. But now, I'm thankful that the players get to rest today while the rest of us schlubs get to rest our vocal chords. Even better, the well-timed bye gives us an extra week to bask in the glory of the most memorable Penn State victory in some time.
