Can you believe it's week 6 already? The season is flying by. Tonight we have two games on TV. First, we have slumping Texas (2-2) heading to Iowa State (1-2) to take on the Cyclones at 7:30 on ESPN. Normally, I would bet the house on Texas but with there terrible performance this year, anything can happen in this game. Iowa State is 7-2 in Thursday night games so they've got that going for them.
Then at 10:00 PM, No.12 UCLA (3-0) takes on Utah (3-1) on FOX Sports 1. It looks like a mismatch but Utah is a surprising 3-1 and is coming off a solid 7-point win over BYU. Utah's only loss was a heartbreaking 3-point overtime thriller to Oregon State 48-51. The Utes can score, they're 31st or better in all three major offensive categories (30th passing, 31st rushing, 20th scoring). It should be a good.
Also the Pens start their season tonight (that's for all you Flyers fans out there who watched their team lose opening night).

We're unanimous on Dear Ole State, Michigan, and Brasky but we differ on Sparty and the Hawkeyes. That and Chad and I are going out on a limb and picking Northwestern in an upset over Ohio State. Hey, why not? I'm tired of being undefeated every week. I do think Ohio State is ripe for the picking and Northwestern always plays a lights-out game every year (see Penn State 2012).
